How far in advance should i book?

Each month's shoots are made available on the 15th of the month prior, and tend to book fairly quickly. So, if you'd like to book a shoot in February, I'd recommend checking the website on January 15th to secure your spot! Occasionally, we have shorter-notice availability if there is a cancellation or schedule-change. You can view our schedule and book an available session HERE.

Bring it on! We like to joke that we specialize in nervous people.

What should I pack?

More is more! We never count looks at any of our shoots, so clients are encouraged to bring as many options as they'd like! This way, if you don't like the way that something photographs, you don't "lose" a significant portion of your photos. After you book, we'll follow up with a detailed email that includes some packing recommendations.

Do I really need a hair & makeup artist?

My short answer: YES.

Here's why: After your shoot, you get ALL of your photos. Having a professional artist on-site means that even those unedited images will look polished and usable. (You'll have fresh Instagram posts for MONTHS!) Having a Hair and Makeup Artist with us also means that all you have to think about is enjoying your shoot.

I work with incredible Hair and Makeup artists, all of whom have an in-depth knowledge of how I light and shoot my photographs. They are an invaluable resource at your photoshoot.

Can I bring a friend to my shoot?

Clients who are under 18 are required to bring a parent or guardian to their shoot. Other than that, I request that you do not plan to bring a guest. (Space in the studio is limited, and extra bodies can become more distracting than helpful.)

What's included in retouching?

All the images on my website are shot and edited by me and are therefore indicative of what you can expect your finished product to look like. I spend a good deal of time making sure that colors are correct, hair is where we want it, and any blemishes are gone (we all have a pimple now and then.) If you're interested in more extensive editing, there may be an additional fee.

When will I get my photos?

Proofs are delivered within 2 days of your shoot. You'll receive an online gallery with high-quality files. Once you've reviewed your photos and made selections for editing, your edited photos will be returned to you within 2 weeks. So if you're quick with your selections, you can go from your shoot to finalized images within 16 days!
